At-Home Literacy: Connected, Meaningful and Authentic

at-home-literacy

On Tuesday, May 19, 2020 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation is hosting an online learning opportunity with members of the STF PL Provincial Facilitator Community. This session will focus on supporting rich home-based literacy practices for K-3 students during remote teaching.

Please join Glenda Hartall-Hadwen, Nina Hurlbert and Pam Grasby Sawatsky for this interactive session to explore ways to integrate literacy into daily activities. Educators will participate in small-group discussions to explore challenges and solutions for connecting literacy goals and family life in the current remote teaching environment.

To protect the session, you will need your school division email to register and a password will be emailed back to you. During the session you can expect to interact with educators from across the province. As this session involves small breakout rooms which cannot be recorded, this will be a live-only session.

Sorry…we have reached the registration limit for this event.

After registration, please check your SPAM/JUNK folder if you do not receive your registration confirmation.
